Booking for goal-setting day

Goal Setting Day for Year 3-10 is 18 July 2016

By now you will have received our letter detailing the Year 3-10 Goal Setting Day we are having on Monday 18 July 2016.

If you have not received this letter, please contact the Business Office immediately. K-2 teachers will work with Year 3-10 students, so K-2 students will not commence school in Term 3 until Tuesday 19 July 2016.

Just to clarify a few points in regards to parent queries:

• 18 July is a student free day – students only attend for their goal setting appointment. Students are not required to be in uniform.
• Students 5-10 are requested to bring their laptops. All students are requested to bring their diaries.
• Each student is to book only one time slot with the teacher specified on our initial letter to you. Every teacher has limited spaces available for the students listed for them; there is no flexibility to see other teachers on this day.
• If you want to see a specific teacher in relation to your son/daughter’s report, there will be Parent/Teacher Interviews held later in the term (K- Year 6 on 25, 26 & 27 July and Year 7-10 4 August).
• Bookings for Goal Setting Day are made through the same system we use for Parent/Teacher Interviews – School Online Booking System (SOBS). These are now open.A direct link to this is here: BOOKING GOAL-SETTING.

When logging on to SOBS there are two areas where bookings can be made: Year 3-Year 6 and Year 7-10. Parents are asked to book in the applicable category for their son/daughter depending on where they are. You only need to make one booking.

We have been seeing the results of this endeavour and we look forward to implementing this valuable process with your child next Term.
