The College first commenced marking Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day on 4 August 2021.
Children’s Day is a national day dedicated to celebrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children across Australia. It is a time when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and communities celebrate the strengths and culture of their children. The day also provides an opportunity for all Australians to show their support for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders children, as well as learn about the crucial impact that culture, family and community play in the life of every Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander child.
