CHIEF FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONS OFFICER

Based at the College in Glenorchy, the Chief Financial and Operations Officer (CFOO), is a key member of the College Leadership Team and reports directly to the Principal. They will oversee and manage the corporate functions of the College, lead a team of 20 staff, and ensure effective and efficient support to the operational areas. They will also play a strategic role in developing and implementing policies, systems, and processes that align with the organisation’s vision, mission, and values. 

Core areas of responsibility will include:

  • Financial and Human Resource Management
  • Oversight of all capital works projects
  • Overseeing all business services functions (finance, governance, IT, marketing, enrolments, facilities, risk, compliance, and student services)
  • Acting as Company Secretary for the College Board

This is a full time, 5 year contract position (non-award).

Relief teachers

The College is currently reviewing and extending our register of relief teachers.
Applications and CVs are invited from suitably qualified and registered primary and secondary teachers.

Dominic College has a preference for relief teachers who can demonstrate the following:

  • Immediate care and concern for children unknown to them
  • Flexibility in a changing environment
  • Creative teaching methods in a relief situation
  • Ability to enter classrooms and engage quickly and effectively with children
  • Initiative and strong problem-solving skills
