Class of 1987 Reunion

Old Scholar Jason Rice reported on his recent 25 year reunion:

The Dominic College Class of 1987 recently celebrated 25 years since leaving Grade 10. The reunion was held at the Polish Club in Lenah Valley and 50 Old Scholars attended, many of whom had not seen each other since school days. A lot has changed in that time…mainly with the guys, going from a mullet hairstyle to a bald head.

The old school band of Stefan LeMottee, Grant Manson and Andrew Sweeney got back together for the first time in over two decades and rocked the joint in a great set of old school rock and roll. Everyone had a ball and the Old Scholars who travelled from interstate were glad they ventured across the water. The music rocked, the dancing shoes were well and truly out and as the beer flowed everyone talked and laughed and reminsced like old times….less beer flowing back then though!

There will definitely be another reunion due to the success of this one and we will not wait 25 years for it. Hopefully once the rest of the group hears what a great night everyone had, there will be even more of us to celebrate at the next get together.
