Decking the halls of Glenview

Student leaders from K-6 visited Glenview Nursing Home on Tuesday 24 November to help them “deck their halls”. When the 18 students arrived after lunch, they were greeted with buckets, bags and boxes of stars, tinsel and baubles. Our students enthusiastically jumped in, decorating Christmas trees, creating patterns with stars, hanging tinsel and generally creating a magical Christmas feel in the home.

The residents came out to take part in the excitement, sharing photos of family, offering suggestions and involving some students in festive colouring in. Our students represented Dominic proudly, and nursing home staff and residents both commented how mature, friendly and hard working all the students were - plus they loved their creative flair and fun attitude!
