Dominic students success at Dance Eisteddfod

Elective Dance students enjoyed great success at the Southern Tasmania Dance Eisteddfod on the first day of competition, in the secondary schools group section.

Dominic had two classes entered, the Year 8 Dance Elective and the Years 9/10 Dance Elective class. Both performed very well in a very competitive section, which included the cream of Hobart's independent schools, including students studying Dance for their TCE.

Our young Year 8 students were awarded a "highly commended" and our Year 9/10 group gained equal first place. Congratulations to all students and to their committed dance teacher, Miss Jenina Evans, of JDW.
