On Saturday 17 November Dominic College was part of the 2018 Myer Christmas Pageant. The weather was beautiful and we had over 50 smiling students from Years 1 and 2, enjoying the atmosphere of the day. Students were ‘stars’ as representatives of the College and as their part in the parade.
The parade was to the theme of ‘Follow the Star,’ with the focus being on the Three Wise Men following the star to present their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the infant Jesus.
We began with quotes from the bible, followed by a large star for us all to follow and our wonderful students shining brightly.
After the students came the three gifts and the Three Wise Men, of which were over three metres tall! The Three Wise men were showstoppers as they made their way through the city centre.
A huge thank you to all the staff who were part of the parade and who supported our students in the pageant.
Thank you to the many parents who joined us. It was wonderful to be part of such a fantastic community celebration.
Everyone loved the day and Dominic College won the Best Children’s Entry award. Special thanks to Ms Naomi Marantelli and our 2019 Student Leaders who helped support our Pageant.
