International Women's Day breakfast at Dominic College
with special guest speaker, Katrina Gregg
International Women's Day is celebrated 8 March all around the world and is an opportunity to commemorate the achievements of girls and women locally and globally.
At Dominic College, we mark this day on Friday 6 March with a wonderful gathering of girls and women from our community. Girls in Years 5-10 and their mothers, grandmothers or older friends are invited to come together with our teachers and Old Scholars for breakfast 7.30am–8.30am (please arrive at 7.15am) in the Savio Centre.
The theme for International Women's Day this year is Make It Happen - encouraging effective action for advancing and recognising women.
We have invited one of our Old Scholars to join us for the occasion. Solicitor, Katrina Gregg, established her own legal firm in 2010, and has certainly made it happen in her life.
We hope that you can join Katrina and many others for the occasion. Tickets should be purchased on line here: Womens Day breakfast tickets.
Proceeds from the breakfast go towards scholarships for girls to attend our Salesian sister school, Don Bosco High School in Salelologa Samoa. Please support International Womens Day 2015.
