Our special guest speaker at our 2016 International Women’s Day Breakfast will be Kate Talbot Smith who has been well-recognised for her significant outreach to others, locally and globally.
An Old Scholar of Dominic College, Class of 1995, Kate is an inspiring woman of service who has had to face her own adversities and deal with life, when she tragically lost her husband.
The breakfast will be held on Tuesday 8 March 7.15–8.30 am in the Savio Centre. Our girls in Years 5-10 are invited together with their mothers, grandmothers, aunties, older sisters, carers and older female friends who act as mentors, as well as their teachers.
Tickets can now be purchased on-line through the College website, see International Women's Day breakfast for more information or buy tickets here now.
Funds raised will be used for scholarships for girls to access education at our Salesian sister school, the Don Bosco High School on Salelologa in Samoa.
