International Women's Day donation

Ms Gilligan received a heartfelt letter of thanks to the Dominic College community from Samoa recently. Fr Mosese writes:

This letter is to say “Thank You” to you and the Dominic Community for the wonderful donation towards providing scholarships for disadvantaged young women. The $2183 you raised at the breakfast held on International Women’s Day was converted to Samoan Tala of $4075.12.

It took some time to carefully select the most appropriate young ladies to be recipient of the sponsorship. The young female students selected were from around the whole Savaii island. We look into the family situation, family story, and family background prior to selecting each individual young lady.

The parents of the students were very grateful for this wonderful assistance for them. Once again, thank you Beth for your continuous support for Salelologa and the students of Savaii.
