K-2 Athletics Carnival 2018

What a great day!

On Wednesday 31 October, the Year K-2 Athletics carnival was held onsite at the College in glorious conditions. The atmosphere was electric and students had an absolute blast in the events of obstacle course, 50m/100m, relays, sack races, egg and spoon races and vortex.

The Dominic College community turned out in force to watch the event and we thank all of those who came and helped make the day a success. You can see photos on our gallery: K-2 Athletics Carnival.

Well done to the students who made us smile and gave us faith that Dominic has an amazing group of young athletes coming through ready to launch onto the big stage in the next few years.

Thanks to the HPE team and Mr Brad Tuffin, Mr Darren Lonergan, Mr David Adams, Mr David Price, Mr Michael Golding and all of our wonderful classroom staff who assisted in the day. If one thing is for certain the students definitely would have slept well on Wednesday night!
