The Relay for Life initiative is a national fundraiser for all those who have been touched by cancer in one way or another.
This initiative is an especially important fundraiser for the Dominic College community as they continue to support their fellow student Ella James who was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at the age of 22 months and ever since has fought ongoing challenges with reoccurrences of the disease. After a journey of huge endurance with her recent treatment in Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, Ella is now in remission. This is a huge achievement and our prayers have been answered. Ella is one of the most courageous young people we know, and we are ever inspired by her.
An incredible testimony to the heart of this wonderful young woman, Ella is now our current lead student fundraiser for the 2021 Relay for Life campaign. Ella, along with our 2021 College Captains and their fundraising team are campaigning to match our 2019 effort by raising $30,000, or better still, to exceed this amazing result.
We encourage everyone to contribute to our team, donations small or large help enormously to reach our goal.
Help us to raise as much as we can to support Relay for Life and provide love and support and much needed funds to families touched by this disease.
