Staff return with enthusiasm

Last week new staff enjoyed a three-day induction to the College, learning about the history and culture of the College, the Salesian educational methods and the way Dominic College has changed and grown into a modern, Catholic co-educational Kindergarten to Year 10 school.

All staff returned to school today, Monday 2 February to commence three days of staff gathering, administrative meetings, professional learning and skills development.

Staff are very focussed during these days and reflect on the Mission of the College. They study and work together, pray and celebrate Mass, and share meals together in the tradition of our founder, St John Bosco.

College staff also use the time to familiarise themselves with their curriculum and pastoral priorities, and to meet in teams to organise and collaborate on the year's work to come.
