State Football representatives

Dominic College Year 6 students Zachary Holdsworth, Lachlan Rowlands and Tyler Carr recently represented Tasmania at the National Football Carnival held in Geelong.

Tasmania played five games in the carnival and achieved some excellent results including a good win over the Northern Territory by 65 points, an excellent win over the ACT by 83 points and some well fought battles against NSW, QLD and WA going down by only15, 31 and 14 points respectively.

Tyler had his strongest game against WA and Lachlan and Zachary’s best games were against NT and ACT. The boys learnt a lot from their experience of donning the “Map” for the first time and look forward to developing their football game further in the coming years.
