Student success at the Show

A large number of Dominic College students enjoyed success at the Royal Hobart Show Youth Art and Photographic competition, including first prizes in categories in Art, Sculpture and Photography.

Five students were able to attend the ceremony on Thursday morning and collect their awards from the Royal Hobart Show committee and local MP, Mr Scott Bacon.

Dominic College Art, Photography and Media teacher, Mrs Jo Jeffery, was delighted with the quality of student entries and their enterprise and confidence in preparing works for exhibition. 'To see our students' work recognised by the community was great. The exhibition is also a good opportunity to look at other work from a variety of schools.'
