Update on volunteer checks

POLICE CHECKS / WORKING WITH CHILDREN CHECKS – 2015

This year there will be a re-structure of the processing of Police Checks for Volunteers at Dominic College, and at all schools.

More information will be on the College website and in future newsletters to assist families / volunteers to prepare for the new "Working with Children Checks" (WWCC).

If you don't currently hold a TCEO police check and will be volunteering in the class-room or on the sports field this year, please contact Frances Archer at the Business Office on 6274 6000 or farcher@dominic.tas.edu.au for further information and to obtain a TCEO application form.

Until the new WWCC procedure is implemented later in the year, any volunteers who hold a TCEO registration card (which expired on 31 Dec 2014), will have their expiry date extended until the 30 June 2015. Your names have been highlighted to staff - to allow the continuation of your support to the College until June 2015.

The Tasmanian Catholic Education Office will be holding training sessions for Dominic College staff members and more detailed procedures will be provided to families and the wider Dominic College community in due course.
