Vinnies group presentation

On Monday 11 December Des Mortimer from the St Dominic’s Conference of Vinnies came to collect a cheque from our Dominic College Vinnies group for $1,500.00 to support needy families in our Glenorchy community.

This is part of the ”Imagine a Family” programme to identify specific families who are doing it tough and targeting them for special help.

Our Vinnies group have worked tirelessly during the year to make this possible by running numerous fundraisers.

A great deal of thanks must go to our Year 10 leaders Tori-Ann Stringer, Ben Dowling, Connor Murray and Alex Simpson, now old scholars, for their terrific efforts in encouraging and guiding our younger members.
