With their final Year 10 exam in the morning on Thursday 24 November, Year 10 students had an afternoon sharing lunch, and reflecting with their peers and staff on their memories, their friendships and their time at Dominic College.
Students readied themselves for their formal graduation Mass at St John's Church, Glenorchy, and mixed with friends outside before the ceremony, while family, friends and staff, all proud, smiling well-wishers, filled the church.
Students made their entrance procession, and participated in a happy ceremony, full of praise for the qualities of this group. Students appreciated thoughtful prayers and speeches, and the beautiful and simple Mass, concelebrated by Frs Peter, Lawrie, Bob and Nick.
Each student received their certificate and the hearty congratulations of their pastoral teacher, and the acclamation of their peers.
Thank you to the senior choir, to old scholars Tony Webb, Diane Cerritelli, John Stephenson and Leesa Baker for presentation of key rings, and to Prinicpal, Beth Gilligan, for a memorable speech of farewell.
Year 10 2016, we salute you!
