Year 5s looking forward

On Tuesday 8 September, Dominic College Year 9 students were pleased to host our own Year 5s for a fun filled educational experience, providing the students with a taste of what high school will be like.

Students were involved in a variety of activities on the day including fitness work in Athletic Development, game-making in Robotics and in Drama students took part in a Creative Arts Infusion experience.

Our Year 5s also had a taste of the College’s Year 7-10 Pastoral Care program EMPOWER.

The Dominic College Year 9 students who looked after our Year 5s found the occasion to be a very rewarding leadership opportunity, particularly when assisting the Year 5s to learn new skills and concepts.
